Comparative Culturology is an interdisciplinary field of inquiry that seeks to understand how cultures vary, evolve, and influence social life by comparing patterns across societies or other cultural groups. Crucially, it focuses on culture as an object of study in its own right, distinct from individual's psychology. Culture can be studied at any collective level. Nations, although diverse, stand out as the most important units of analysis - see why.
We work across disciplines, bringing diverse perspectives from sociology, psychology, anthropology, economics, neuroscience, and related disciplines to confront unresolved puzzles, challenge outdated paradigms, and advance cultural research.
